hope you like it!

The modelling have been done in 3dsmax and it is really simple, it constist of the two hands and some terrain...

The postproduction work instead was done in photoshop.

I've realized this image since i want to create a simple but quite detailed scene in order to have some exercise in texturing and modelling details.

The scene is entirely modelled with 3dsmax and rendered in vray, then i have some postproduction made in photoshop (adding the background and color correction).

Here you can find an unsmoothed wire :

Mabry Mill

In this piece i've tried to depict the "Mabry Mill", a water mill located in the Blue Ridge in Virginia.
In this work i was not aiming to photorealism, instead i want it to convey a sense of calm and peace, a place surrounded with untouched nature.
I've used 3dsmax to model the scene, Brazil R/S for the render and Photoshop for color correction and layer compositing. The trees and the grass are realized without plugins using scatter objects.
A big thanks goes to the treddi.com community for the help and the support they provide me.
Comments and critics are more than welcome.
Bye

WW2 Mission Briefing

I took the inspiration for this from the Call of Duty 2 loading screens.
I've tried to depict the atmosphere you can see in the briefing phase that usually take place before a mission.
The knife is a Ka-bar the one usually equipped to U.S. troops during WWII, the bag is a little ammo or maps pouch and not a backpack so the scale should be correct, the little package you see in the top right corner instead contains bullets
The scene has been entirely modelled in 3dsmax 7 with polys and rendered with Brazil R/S 1.2, I've not done any postproduction since i was satisfied with the image.
I want also to thanks the treddi.com community for the help and support they provide to me during the creation of this piece.
Comment and critics are more than welcome!
Bye

Diorama

I started this as an attempt to depict some ancient ruins in a fantasy environment, but when i added the tree i decided it would have been fun to put it in a vase like it was a bonsai or a diorama. For the tree i used some photos of a red maple bonsai.
I would have added some more particles for the grass but my machine has not enough memory to render the scene.
Comments are most welcome.
Thanks.
